Hello Smallville,
I hope you had an excellent week! First, I want to give a massive shoutout to our incredible volleyball teams as they head into the Zone Playoffs next week. Our 7th grade teams have fought hard all season and will be competing for 1st place in the Championship, while our 8th grade teams will be battling it out for 3rd place. Our Cougar athletes have put in endless hours of dedication and teamwork, so let’s fill the stands at Burger Stadium next Wednesday. The excitement continues next week with one of our absolute favorite traditions of the year, our annual Fall Festival! As one of our premier fundraising events, this event supports vital programs across our campus while bringing our students, staff, and families together for fun, games, and all things pumpkin.
I also want to extend a special note of gratitude to our new Newspaper Club, who officially published their very first edition this week! Our student journalists worked tirelessly to pull this issue together, and their creativity and voice truly shine through.
Thank you all for your continuous support, energy, and partnership in making Small such a vibrant place to learn and grow. I also want to thank everyone for sending me such positive messages for Principal Appreciation Week! Don’t forget we will see our Cougars on Tuesday next week! Have a great long weekend!
