Hello Crockett Students and Families,

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! We kicked things off with a beautiful celebration last week in collaboration with our students, alumni and PTSA, and look forward to continuing to highlight the diversity and contributions of Hispanic Americans to our local and global community.

This week is short, but packed with important events like "Start with Hello" Week, School Pictures in ELA Class, and an important grading deadline for students in UIL activities.

Please make sure you also read below about a construction disruption to our Menchaca parking and traffic.

See all the important details below, and have a great Crockett Week !

Construction will reduce parking and limit traffic flow at Crockett from September 22-25. See below for important details.

As part of the 2022 Gym Bond Project, a new waterline will be installed on campus. Waterline construction is scheduled to begin September 19, 2026, and is expected to last approximately 9 calendar days.

The construction will impact campus operations primarily during the school days of September 22–25, 2026 (4 School Days). Please review the attachd map.

During this time:
*The second driveway on Menchaca Road will be temporarily closed, and there will be no entry to Crockett from Menchaca. All vehicles must enter from Stassney.
*The number of available parking spaces in the Menchaca Road parking lot are limited. ALL MENCHACA PARKING IS DESIGNATED FOR STAFF DURING THIS WEEK
*Overflow parking is available at ACC during this week.
*Emergency access will remain available at all times and construction areas will be clearly marked and separated from student walkways and pathways.
*Ongoing trenching will take place throughout the construction period.
Families should consider drop off and pick up in the surrounding business parks if possible during this time.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we complete this important campus improvement project.

CADY will be on campus on September 22 and September 23 photographing students for student IDs and underclassmen yearbook portraits. Please remind your student to dress appropriately and come prepared for their portrait. Families can save $10 on photo packages when they pre-order before Picture Day.
