Hello Crockett Students and Families,

We are so excited to launch another "Always Victorious" year! Please read this newsletter in its entirety for important logistics for a successful launch to the school year.

We are also celebrating academic growth for both Austin ISD and Crockett as reported by TEA! Austin ISD increased to a "B" Rating! Crockett earned a 79 (C); a 4 point increase from 2025, and our highest score in the 4 years that this accountability system has been implemented. We are very proud of the continued hard work of our staff and students!

Students can now see their live schedule in Frontline and will report to 5th period no later than 9:05.

AISD Transportation "Hubs"

Austin ISD has transitioned to a "Hub" model for high school student school busses at the locations listed below. You can learn more on the AISD Transportation website.

Crockett Campus Construction Traffic Update

Exciting News! Construction on our new gym and fine arts spaces is underway! This construction will limit campus access on Menchaca except during peak arrival and dismissal windows and reduce parking availability (see map). Please avoid as much as possible entering campus driveways and/or attempting to park during peak morning arrival and dismissal times to prioritize our bus service and support traffic flow. Many Crockett families coordinate drop off and pick up in the neighboring business parks and side streets. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Student Early Checkout Reminders

All students must be checked out in person in the office by an adult on their approved checkout list. Calling in to the office to check a student out is not permitted by AISD Policy.

Students who are driving themselves to an appointment must have prior approval by administration to leave by emailing proof of appointment from the healthcare provider to crockett@austinisd.org, and must stop into the main office prior to exiting campus

No students will be checked out after 4PM. Please schedule all checkout before this time, or students will need to remain in class until the 4:35 bell.
