Este año escolar vamos a celebrar a su estudiante cada mes por su asistencia perfecta, su crecimiento académico y su formación de criterio positivo. El viernes más cercano al último del mes tendremos una ceremonia al final del día. La maestra de su estudiante le enviará un mensaje un par de días antes para informarle que su estudiante será reconocido. Marque en su calendario el  viernes 2 de octubre. Si su estudiante será celebrado, lo esperamos a las 2:40 PM.

We will celebrate students at the end of every month for perfect attendance, academic growth, and good character. We will hold an award ceremony on the Friday closest to the end of the month. Your student's teacher will send you a message a couple of days before the assembly to let you know that your student will be recognized. Mark on your calendar October 2nd at 2:40 PM. This will be our first award assembly.

Todos los estudiantes de 2do grado tomarán una evaluación que medirá sus habilidades para ingresar al programa de dotados y talentosos. Las evaluaciones empezarán el 22 de septiembre al 7 de octubre. Por favor comuniquese con la subdirectora Neshem si tiene alguna pregunta.

All 2nd grade students will take a Gifted and Talented non-verbal screener. The assessment window is September 22nd to October 7th. If your student scores satisfactorily, they will complete the rest of the assessment to determine qualification for the GT program. See Ms. Neshem if you have any questions.

Tutoria empezara pronto

La tutoría de estudiantes después de la escuela empezará pronto la segunda semana de octubre. Todos los estudiantes serán invitados. La meta de la tutoria es de ayudar a los estudiantes en su crecimiento académico. 

After School Tutoring is Starting Soon

After school tutoring will begin on the second week of October. All students are invited. Tutoring aims to support students' academic growth.

Ajuste de tiempo a la puerta de llegada en auto

Tenemos que hacer un ajuste a la hora de servicio de la llegada. Como usted sabe, su estudiante tiene que estar en el salón de clases a las 7:40 AM para que sea considerado a tiempo. También, nuestro personal tiene que estar listo en sus puestos a las 7:40. Por este motivo, la puerta trasera por donde llegan en automóvil se cerrará a las 7:35 AM. Por favor planee su mañana para que pueda llegar entre las 7:00 y las 7:35 AM. De esta manera su estudiante y nuestro personal estarán a tiempo en su aula de clases. ¡Gracias por su apoyo!

Adjustment to Arrival Car Drop-Off Door Time

We are adjusting the service time for the car drop-off. As you know, your student must be in the classroom by 7:40 AM to be considered on time. In addition, our staff needs to be at their post by 7:40 AM. For this reason, the door in the back driveway for the car drop-off will close at 7:35 AM. Please plan your morning so you can drop-off between 7:00 to 7:35 AM. This will allow your student and our staff to walk to their classrooms and still be on time. Thank you for your support!

Si lleva a su hijo a la escuela en automóvil, la entrada para autobuses escolares ubicada detrás de la escuela también se utilizará para dejar y recoger a los estudiantes. Sin embargo, se dará prioridad al autobús escolar. Los autobuses están programados para dejar a los estudiantes antes de las 7:00 a. m. y recogerlos a las 3:05 p. m. Los vehículos pueden formar una sola fila en la entrada para autobuses escolares y en la calle Ponca. Para permitir un flujo adecuado de tráfico y que el autobús escolar pueda girar a la derecha al salir de la entrada, no se permite estacionar en la calle Ponca en el lado opuesto al edificio escolar. Por la seguridad de su hijo, de los demás estudiantes y de los padres, respete las señales de tránsito y las instrucciones que le dé el personal que dirige el tráfico. No se permite estacionar en ningún momento en la entrada ni en la rotonda de los autobuses escolares

If you drive your child to school, the school bus driveway behind the school will also be used as a car drop-off and pick up. However, priority will be given to the school bus. Buses are scheduled to drop students off before 7:00 a.m. and pick up at 3:05 p.m.. Vehicles may form a single line in the school bus driveway and on Ponca Street. To allow a proper flow of traffic and for the school bus to make a right turn leaving the driveway, No Parking is Allowed on Ponca Street in the side across the school building. For the safety of your child, other students, and parents, please respect the traffic signs and the instructions staff directing traffic give you. No parking is allowed at anytime in the school bus driveway and circle.

Después de que el autobús escolar haya dejado a los estudiantes, se permitirá que las familias entren a la rotonda de autobuses para dejar a los alumnos en los puntos designados, numerados del 1 al 6. Un miembro del personal ayudará a su hijo a bajar del vehículo. Por la seguridad de su hijo, la descarga de estudiantes solo está permitida por el lado derecho de su vehículo (el lado del pasajero). El conductor debe permanecer dentro del vehículo. Espere hasta que el vehículo de adelante avance para que usted pueda continuar hacia adelante y salir de la rotonda. No se permite estacionar en ningún momento en la entrada ni en la rotonda de la escuela.

After the school bus has dropped off students, families dropping off students will be allowed into the school bus circle to drop students off at the designated drop off points numbered 1 through 6. A staff member will assist your child off the vehicle. For your child's safety, unloading of students is only allowed on the right side of your vehicle (the passenger side). The driver of the vehicle must remain in the vehicle. Wait until the vehicle in front of you moves for your to proceed forward and exit the circle. No parking is allowed at anytime in the school driveway and circle.

Los vehículos pueden esperar en la entrada de la escuela, pero deben ceder el paso al autobús escolar que recoge a los estudiantes. Espere en el punto designado; por favor, no entre a la rotonda de autobuses escolares. Después de que el autobús escolar haya recogido a los estudiantes, se permitirá que las familias que los recogen en automóvil entren a la rotonda de autobuses. Deténgase según se le indique en el punto de recogida designado. Asegúrese de mostrar la "Tarjeta de color para recoger al estudiante" en el parabrisas delantero. Un miembro del personal llamará el color y el número de su tarjeta que identifica a su(s) estudiante(s). Un miembro del personal ayudará a su hijo a subir al vehículo. Por la seguridad de su hijo, la carga de estudiantes solo está permitida por el lado derecho de su vehículo (el lado del pasajero) junto a la acera. Además, si el maestro o el administrador de su hijo desea hablar con usted, un miembro del personal también podría indicarle que espere en un lugar más adelante de la rotonda. No se permite estacionar en ningún momento en la entrada ni en la rotonda de la escuela, a menos que esté autorizado por un administrador escolar.

LA LEY de Texas y de la Ciudad de Austin prohíbe el uso de dispositivos de comunicación portátiles en ZONAS ESCOLARES; los conductores no pueden usar el teléfono celular mientras están en la fila de recogida.

NO SE ESTACIONE EN DOBLE FILA NI PERMITA QUE LOS NIÑOS CAMINEN HACIA LA CALLE O DELANTE DE OTROS AUTOS PARA LLEGAR A SU VEHÍCULO O A LA ACERA DE LA ESCUELA.

¡LA CARGA Y DESCARGA SE REALIZA EXCLUSIVAMENTE JUNTO A LA ACERA!

Vehicles may wait in the school driveway but yield to the school bus picking up students. Wait at the designated point, please do not enter the school bus drive circle. After the school bus has picked up students, families picking up students by car will be allowed into the school bus circle. Stop as directed at the designated pick up point. Make sure to display the "Color Student Pick-up Card" in the front windshield. A staff member will call for the color and number in your card that identifies your student(s). A staff member will assist your child to board your vehicle. For your child's safety, loading of students is only allowed on the right side of your vehicle (the passenger side) next to the sidewalk. The driver of the vehicle must remain in the vehicle. Wait until the vehicle in front of you moves for your to proceed forward and exit the circle.

If you are picking other students who may be running late, you may be directed to pull forward to wait for your children. In addition, if your child's teacher or administrator wants to talk to you, a staff member may also direct you to wait at a spot ahead of the circle. No parking is allowed at anytime in the school driveway and circle, unless it is authorized by a school administrator.

Texas and the City of Austin LAW prohibits the use of handheld communication devices in SCHOOL ZONES, drivers cannot use a cell phone while in the pick-up line.

DO NOT DOUBLE PARK OR ALLOW CHILDREN TO WALK INTO THE STREET AND IN FRONT OF OTHER CARS TO GET TO YOUR CAR OR THE SCHOOL SIDEWALK. LOADING AND UNLOADING IS CURBSIDE ONLY!

CapMetro ha comenzado una nueva ruta por la calle Vargas. Por favor, no se estacione en el lugar asignado como parada de autobús público en la carretera Vargas.

CapMetro has begun a new route along Vargas Road. Please do not park at the designated bus stop on Vargas Rd.

La escuela primaria Allison tendrá una reunión para la comunidad el martes 25 de septiembre a las 5:00 PM. El propósito de la reunión es compartir el historial de clasificaciones de desempeño de la escuela, analizar las opciones para el plan de transformación, entender el cronograma para la creación del plan de transformación  y compartir comentarios para la creación del plan de transformación.

Allison Elementary will hold an information community meeting on Tuesday, September 25th at 5:00 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to share the campus performance history with the community, review the Turnaround Plan options, understand the timeline for turnaround development, and share feedback for the development of the plan.

Ayúdenos a celebrar a nuestros custodios la semana de septiembre 28. Ellos trabajan muy duro para mantener la escuela limpia y funcionando al 100%.
