Enroll Now for the 2025-2026 School Year!!
We are only at 70% enrolled for next year and need to be at 90% by Mid-May!! Please Enroll your students this week so we can ensure we are staffed appropriately for next year.
Moving away and not returning to Zilker - email us at zilker@austinisd.org to let us know so we don't bother you with reminder emails to enroll later this month.

Class Placement Parent Input
We will begin creating class lists in the coming weeks based off of registered students. Please complete your registration this week if you haven’t already!
With input from you, your child’s teachers, and our administration team, the formal process for class placement begins this month. Class Placement will not be finalized until August and released the week prior to school starting.
Creating class lists is something we take very seriously with lots of feedback and collaboration of our team here at Zilker. We are purposeful to create classes that are balanced and will lead to success for all stakeholders: your child, the parents, the teacher, and the school as a whole.
If you would like to add input about your child’s strengths and opportunities for growth you are wanting to see, here is an optional form to complete. This form will only be used by the administrative team during the class creation process. Two specifics to note: we will not be taking specific teacher requests as we are VERY proud of our entire teaching staff. Also, we request you refrain from requesting friends to join your child. Each child has his/her own needs and will be placed on those individual needs.
Again- only students who have completed the registration process will be placed into classes for next year, so please complete this ASAP!
Based on your overwhelming feedback we will again collect a one-time school supply and Activity (Field Trip) fee for the year. We will not be creating school supply lists for purchase next year. This fee is the only money that will be requested from the campus for the 25/26 school year.
You can pay now by selecting your child’s future grade level. Please also consider donating to a student in need by making a partial or full donation.

The Zilker PTA strives to improve the school experience for Zilker students, staff and the broader community. We put on many community events throughout the year including the Back to School Concert, Z-Fiesta, Zamboree and Holiday Lights Around the World. Additionally, we throw 2 fundraisers every year to raise money for the many programs and needs for the school. In the Fall we have the Fun Run where the whole school participates in a spirit week culminating in an amazing Fun Run event in Little Zilker Park. In the Spring, we throw an adults only fundraiser called Spring Fling which is a blast year after year. The money raised allows us to fund the examples below as well as many other important school programs.

Funds the school’s garden program
Ongoing teacher and staff appreciation efforts
Art, music, PE and classroom supplies and educational resources
Campus improvements such as painting, repairs and grounds beautification
Literacy, Math and Arts Programs and Events
