Hello Smallville!
I am thrilled to celebrate some incredible achievements within our school. Congratulations to 6th Grade World Cultures teacher Elizabeth Grenadier, our Teacher of the Year, for her dedication to fostering a love of learning and making a lasting impact on her students. A big shout-out also goes to 6th Grade Math teacher Ben Chiaviro, named Teacher of Promise, for his innovative and engaging teaching methods. They are shining examples of the talent and passion within our Smallville team.
This spring semester is off to a smooth start, and our staff has also been busy refining their lesson plans and instructional strategies to ensure that every student feels supported and challenged as our Cougars work toward their academic goals.
Stay tuned for updates on our spring events calendar, which will feature exciting opportunities for our you and our Cougars to shine and take part in the school community.
Take a moment this weekend to reflect with your Cougars on what they’re proud of so far this school year. Sharing these moments together can be a great confidence boost and a reminder of how much they’ve already accomplished.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Have an amazing weekend!

These two itineraries were picked with a lot of thought put into them. Students (and adults!) will get to see so many iconic places on tour, including a great number of World Heritage Sites. The hands-on experiences chosen are great as well, the landmarks we'll visit, and the sights you'll see are all world-class: From the Island of Capri "faraglione" to the Acropolis, to swimming on Heraklion beaches in Crete, to stepping on Kyoto's most amazing temple - a national treasure itself, to visiting technology museums in Tokyo and Japanese gardens in Osaka, walking in the steps of Gladiators in the Colosseum and Roman Forum, or learning about how Pompeii got buried in ashes with Mount Vesuvius in the background, or stepping into Delphi and learning about oracles in Greece, it's going to be amazing!
