Hello Smallville,
We are closing in on our first-holiday break of the season, but we have some fun in store before next Friday. As you know we love to create opportunities for our students to develop essential social and problem-solving skills that enrich their learning journey. Through these community-building events, our students are able to build friendships and acquire new interests.
We’re also thrilled to announce that Monday is CAT Day! This special day is dedicated to fostering Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and strengthening our Cougar community. Through engaging activities and meaningful discussions, we’ll dive into various activities that matter to our students while sharing interests and building connections across our campus.
Next week, we’re excited to also host our Discovery Fair for our prospective families and students—this is a showcase of the incredible programs our campus offers. This is a great opportunity for prospective students and families to explore and celebrate the unique learning experiences happening at our school. If you know of any families that will be applying or enrolling at Small, please let them know about this opportunity.
And the fun keeps rolling! Next Friday, we will have our first family movie night. So grab your blankets and chairs and let’s kick off the holiday break with our community.
Thank you for your continued support in making our school a place where every student thrives.
Have an amazing weekend!

These two itineraries were picked with a lot of thought put into them. Students (and adults!) will get to see so many iconic places on tour, including a great number of World Heritage Sites. The hands-on experiences chosen are great as well, the landmarks we'll visit, and the sights you'll see are all world-class: From the Island of Capri "faraglione" to the Acropolis, to swimming on Heraklion beaches in Crete, to stepping on Kyoto's most amazing temple - a national treasure itself, to visiting technology museums in Tokyo and Japanese gardens in Osaka, walking in the steps of Gladiators in the Colosseum and Roman Forum, or learning about how Pompeii got buried in ashes with Mount Vesuvius in the background, or stepping into Delphi and learning about oracles in Greece, it's going to be amazing!
