Principal's message

Bear Families,

As you may know, the School Board will vote on proposed boundary changes on November 20th. If approved, these changes would welcome students from new areas into the Bailey Middle School community beginning next school year.

I want to take a moment to share how excited we are about the possibility of new families joining our Bailey community. At the same time, I understand that boundary changes can bring mixed emotions for both current and future families. Change often comes with questions and uncertainty, but it also brings new opportunities for growth and connection.

As we look ahead, I am confident that the addition of new families will further strengthen our community and enrich the experiences of all Bailey students. I encourage our current school community to join me in offering a warm welcome to those who may be joining us next year.

As we prepare to welcome new families, I encourage our current Bailey families to reach out with kindness, whether in person, through community events, or on social media to help ease the minds of those transitioning to our campus. A friendly conversation or shared positive experience can make a tremendous difference in helping new families feel connected and supported. as I want to comfort those that feel uncertain during this. Together, we will continue to make Bailey a place where every student and family feels valued and supported.

Thank you for your continued trust, support, and partnership.

-Mr. Lancaster
