Principal's message

Bailey Families,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Bonfire and Fall Festival! While we weren’t able to receive clearance from the Fire Department for an actual bonfire this year, the spirit of the evening was brighter than ever. Our Bear community came together to enjoy performances from our talented Bailey groups, along with amazing guests from Baranoff Elementary and Akins High School.

Each year, this event grows bigger and better, and this year was no exception. Together, we raised over $13,000 to support our students and teachers which is an incredible reflection of the generosity and heart within our community. A very special thank you goes to Ms. Sherri Foster, whose dedication, time, and leadership make this event possible year after year. We truly could not do it without her.

We are so proud of our student performers and volunteers who represented Bailey with enthusiasm, pride, and teamwork throughout the evening. Events like this showcase the strong partnerships across our local AISD schools and highlight what makes our community so special. Our shared commitment to one another and to our students’ success is one reason I love this community.

As discussions continue around proposed boundary changes, I am reminded of just how resilient and united our Bailey family is. No matter what adjustments may come, our focus will always remain on supporting our kids which is what matters the most. Together, we will continue to create a welcoming, inclusive, and thriving environment where every student can succeed.

With gratitude,

Brad Lancaster
Principal, Bailey Middle School
