Hello everyone!

First of all, I wanted to take a moment to say "G'mar Chatimah Tovah" to all of our Jewish community members who observed the high holiday of Yom Kippur. Though we all lead busy (and sometimes hectic) lives, I sincerely hope you got the time and space you need to solemnly reflect and have a meaningful Yom Kippur and an easy fast.

Secondly, happy homecoming! It was a great week full of homecoming spirit, and I am always heartened by how our whole community gets into the festivities! Our parade crowd gets bigger and bigger every year, and the pep rally this morning was INCREDIBLE!

Also, a reminder that there is no school on Friday, Oct 10!

Finally, we wanted to wish our amazing custodians a Happy Custodian Appreciation Week! We have some of the best custodians around, let by our amazing Lupita. They're a great crew, and they're always a positive influence on our campus. It's a tough job trying to keep this campus clean and in working order, and they work REALLY hard at it. We love them and appreciate them!

New Process for Pink Passes

There is a new process for checking students out for appointments or early release (or the "pink passes").

You are still able to submit all the information for a student to get a pink pass to leave campus, that process remains the same. However, once a student has a pink pass, and it is time for them to leave, they now need to go to the front office to check out in our raptor system. This one small step will allow us to have a more safe and secure campus by knowing exactly when a student leaves. Thanks!

PTSA Request - Sign up for Secret Pals!

One thing that our staff ALWAYS love throughout the year is the thoughtful gifts that they receive from Secret Pals. It's a really easy and great way to show you care. Our PTSA does an amazing job at organizing the effort, and they always make sure everyone gets taken care of - but it always is a community effort. They would love it if you signed up to either donate or to be a Secret Pal for an Anderson staff member! Sign Up Here!
