Hello everyone!
It's the busiest month of the year, what with AP and IB testing, graduation, Baccalaureate, Trustee Awards, and allllll the other things. Keep your head above water, the eyes on the prize, etc etc.
Speaking of the Baccalaureate: That is coming up next Saturday, May 16th. The name of the event is slightly confusing, but a baccalaureate is simply a celebratory event that is typically held a few days before a graduation. I understand it's a bit confusing because we have the International Baccalaureate Programme, but this event is not affiliated with IB; it's open to ALL graduating seniors. And even thought it takes place at a church, it's not a religious ceremony; they just have a really nice space that can hold all of us! It's a great chance to have a much smaller event than the graduation and great some good pictures of seniors in their robes. Hope to see you there!
Also, I feel the need to send one more reminder about parking:
Students need to park in ONLY designated parking spots for students. There are marked rows for staff parking, and students should not be arking there, nor should they be parking in any areas of the lot that are not spots.
Similarly, parent drop-off and pick-up should not be happening in EITHER the staff parking lot of student parking lot. Please only drop off or pick up in the front circle drive. I know it gets crowded, but that is our designated location.
Thanks y'all - 8 school days and 4 finals half-days left! (oh my gosh that's crazy)
