Hello everyone!
We are done with STAAR EOC testing! What a relief it is! Now it's time to get moving with AP and IB tests, all while getting ready to wrap up the year with graduation, the Trustee Awards, the Baccalaureate ceremony, and others!
Seniors: As you start getting ready to head off to your future, please know that you can stop by the health office to request a copy of your immunization records. This will be really help as you get ready for the next steps, whatever those are!
On a different note, THE big topic of conversation these days is the Austin ISD budget. As of right now, I know of no decisions that have been made about how to meet the challenge of a projected $181 million deficit. As conversations evolve, I will be able to give more information.
One thing the district has asked for is for feedback. An email from Superintendent Segura went out earlier, and here is the information below:
